The vision of Spirit of Grace is to encourage, nurture, and support Catholic home schooling families in a cooperative, community building environment with possibilities in the future of building upon this firm foundation.
Mission
To provide a structured parent-driven Catholic based educational enrichment program with opportunities for social and religious gatherings to home schooling families of parishes in the Atlanta area.
Philosophy
- Parents maintain the oversight of a child’s education and determine the manner and extent to which the child will be involved in Spirit of Grace (Enrichment Program, Field Trips, and/or Feast Day Celebrations).
- By enrolling in Spirit of Grace, parents and students agree to abide by the policies and procedures of the ministry, as well as uphold the authority of the teacher/s.
- Spirit of Grace assists the parents in enriching their children in areas that encourage fun, exploration, a love for hands on learning, and the building of true friendships.
- The heart of Spirit of Grace is driven by our love of Christ and our God given role to educate our children.
Communication
The founders and volunteers of Spirit of Grace desire to maintain an “open-door” policy. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to stop by and discuss it with us. It would be helpful to call ahead and arrange a time for meaningful conversation.
*In line with this, if you have a concern, please speak directly with the person involved (Matthew 18). Do not discuss your concern with others who are not involved in the situation. Following this scriptural process will maintain a Godly atmosphere of unity and harmony, honoring to Christ.
