Responsibilites:
--Main Contact with St. Ann’s
--Room reservations
--Secretarial (rosters, phone lists, e-mail lists, volunteer points, etc)
--Website
--Teacher Appreciation
--Plan meeting with board members
Personal: My husband and I live in East Marietta with our three children, Allison (10), Kathleen (7), and Matthew (4). We chose to home school our children because we felt the responsibility to educate them to their potential and continue to be the primary influence as our children navigate through life was our responsibility. We love what home schooling has done for our children's sibling relationships as well as the flexibility it gives our family. One of the greatest benefits of Spirit of Grace for our family is the beautiful community we continue to build for our family and for our children. The Enrichment Program also serves us well by enhancing the children's home school experience, while decreasing the amount of running around and time in the car. This leaves more time for school and fun!

--Liturgy coordinator
--Morning Prayer
--Priest Gifts
--End of the Year Tithe
--Plan meeting with board members
Personal: My name is Diana Nagel. My husband, Kris and I have three children, Emily (7), Ryan (6), and Danny (4). We believe that learning is a way of life and we feel that home schooling allows us to foster that passion in our children as we meet our children's individual educational needs. It is also very important to us that we are the primary agents responsible for molding our children's character. Spirit of Grace has provided a wonderful support group of families for both our children and us as homeschooling parents. The enrichment and Catholic experiences Spirit of Grace offers are wonderful additions to our homeschooling program.

Betsy Galit
Treasurer
Responsibilities:
--Daily Bookkepping
--Collection of all funds
--Disbursement of funds
--T-Shirt Orders
Personal: Hi, my name is Betsy Galit. My husband and I have two children, Nate (6) and Eli (4). We started talking about homeschooling when Nate was a baby and the older he got, the more sense it made for our family. I love that homeschooling has enabled us to learn together and how much my children teach each other (and me!). I love the flexibility of homeschooling and that sometimes our days are just made up as we go along. I've loved watching my children learn and my husband has gotten to be an integral part of it. I think it has made our family unit so strong. Spirit of Grace has been such an important part of our homeschool experience. My children love the activities and field trips and I love the friendships that have developed among the families.

Amy Scherb
Teaching Consultant
Responsibilities:
-General consulting on goals, strategies, and materials for teaching component of Spirit of Grace
Personal: My name is Amy Scherb, I have two children; Sierra (10) and Sebastian (5). After leaving the teaching field, I became concerned about the county's education system. I sent my first child to Catholic school, but after three years of homework tantrums, both of us, and the teachers sending work home becuase I was a teacher anyway, I realized I needed to educate my children myself. Sebastian's story is a whole different ballgame. He is special needs and the school setting was just not cut out to help him. I have been homeschooling my children for 2 years now and enjoy every minute of it.
